and how you relate to the outer world. Understanding your personal preferences can
help you to identify careers and work environments to which you are well-suited and
Strong Interest Inventory
- The Strong Interest Inventory provides a detailed analysis
of your areas of interest and a comparison of your interest patterns to those of satisfied
workers from a wide range of occupations. It also provides insight into your preferred
style of working, learning, leading, risk taking, and team participation.
Assessment for College Planning
- High school seniors or current college students
can benefit from assessing their personality type and interests and learning how their
profile lends itself to various college programs and majors. The Strong Interest Inventory and MBTI both offer assessment results geared specifically toward high school and college students which can be helpful in linking interests and skills to college majors, extracurricular activities and career planning and can help you to make the most of your college experience from day one.
Narrative Career Counseling
- Often people facing career transitions are seeking more meaning in their work life. A narrative approach to career counseling can be a very helpful way to examine your career and life story and better understand how to find a direction in your career that will give you a greater sense of purpose and align your personal and career goals. The career narrative assessment involves a structured interview with the client followed by an interpretation session linking the themes of your career story to possible future career paths.
